Hubert Mussner

Hubert Mussner

In a similar way as the figure, the artist Hubert Mussner often suggests their placement in an accurately defined space, thereby creating an imaginary atmosphere in which to explore the most intimate feelings and diverse aspects of human expression. The protagonists are in fact men and women, dissolved into wood. Their form is compact and light sculpts the surfaces in a way which enhances the adherence to reality. The figure’s poses result from a few orientations, the vertical and the horizontal, a slight inclination or direction. They open the perception an impressive view. In the balance of the forces of the figures is hidden the extraordinary impetus of life.

    About:

Like the figure itself, Hubert Mussner often suggests placing them in a space exactly defined by the artist. In doing so, he creates the imaginary atmosphere to explore the most intimate feelings and the various aspects of human expression. In fact, the protagonists are men and women who dissolve in the wood. The shape is compact and the light shapes the surfaces, which in this way better preserve their approach to reality. The poses of the figures result from a few orientations, the vertical and the horizontal, a slight inclination or direction. They give the perception an impressive view. In the balance of the forces of the figures hides the impetus of life for the artist.
